Formed in 1982 to cover the need in the refurbishment market for a company which could provide the skill and expertise of larger organizations, combined with the service more generally associated with smaller companies.
Sapphire has gone from strength to strength, increasing not only the work force but also the range of services provided. Recognizing the growing demand for a total contract service to support steadily increasing list of clients, the company was re-constructed to include Electrical and Mechanical Services.
A Northern division operating since 2012 has added to our services.
Much of Sapphire’s growth has been achieved through existing clients placing repeat business, together with additional contracts being awarded from new customers through the personal recommendation of existing clients.
The complete project is handled ‘in-house’ by our skilled and experienced Project Managers, AutoCAD Designers and Construction Staff ensuring that all works undertaken are completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
Every contract enquiry, irrespective of size, begins with a discussion between Sapphire and the potential client, his representative or architect, to establish an understanding as to the precise needs of that customer.
Once these objectives have been established, Sapphire is then able to submit their proposals.
Implementation of Installation
Once awarded a contract, Sapphire would nominate a Customer Service Manager plus a highly skilled team to carry out the installation work and see the project through to completion.
It is the responsibility of the nominated Customer Service Manager to ensure that the schedule is adhered to, that any last minute changes to the plan may be accommodated, and that a regular progress report is provided to the client, wherever necessary.
Particular care and attention is paid to Building and Fire Regualtions.
Throughout the entire installation, there are constant consultations with the client ensuring total satisfaction at all times.
Construction Design Mamagement (CDM)
The CDM Regulations came into force, bringing with them numerous liabilities for both contractor and client alike.
When selecting the Design and Build Contractor for your project, you can be assured that Sapphire can take on the burden of Planning Supervisor and principle Contractor and adhere directly to the regulations in terms of both site safety and supporting paperwork. Our experience gained in this field is both practical, and via a contract training programme, we ensure all our staff are aware and updated with the procedures and regulations.
Taking into account the most cost effective products and solutions that fulfil the criteria, which in turn offers you, the customer, the most competitive price.
